Action
Tobias takes his first job in a rundown housing estate in Gothenburg as a pastor. The son of a good family home had studied theology against the will of the parents. In his new workplace, a social focal point, his church is empty, while the mosque is next door fully. His predecessor, Karl Henrik, who has long since retired, has continued to meet the pastorate because no successor in sight. Karl Henrik has the hope that people will eventually come back to him in the church, long abandoned.
On the eve of his second working day he is robbed at a bus stop young people. The young people take his cell phone, money and his clock; but leave him his wallet with ID, so he must not apply for a new one.
His attempts to make contact with the inhabitants of the settlement, fail miserably. But here he met Carol, a chain-smoking wheelchair user who lives on welfare. However, it can inspire him by their vitality for themselves. Reservations about Carol's life prevent Tobias however, to begin a relationship Carola.
Only at Carol's wedding reception with another may Tobias - at the last moment - his love confess, is beaten for it by her groom. In the hospital, he confesses his love.
