Migas

Migas ( German " crumbs " ) or migas de pastor ( " after Schäferart " ) are a Spanish traditional farmers or shepherds court in which old white bread is utilized as a side dish or a stand-alone entree.

But the bread is broken into small pieces and mixed with strong broth, garlic and optionally other spices, such as pepper, that a friable mass. This is then roasted with more or less oil in a pan, stirring constantly and " chopping" of the mass with a wooden spoon in the pan, until the mixture is browned. In Spanish supermarkets you can find today Migas with ham or chorizo ​​piece as a finished dish.
