Miguel Ángel Martín (golfer)

Miguel Ángel Martín ( born May 2, 1962 in Madrid ) is a Spanish professional golfer.

Career

The former caddy started his career in 1981 as a professional golfer. Martin has more than twenty Seasons member of the European Tour and in 2005 was the first continental European golfers that can have 500 take-offs on this great tournament series. His best ranking on the European Tour Order of Merit is a 17th place. Martin has previously recorded three tournament victories and was a member of the victorious Spanish team in the Dunhill Cup in 2000.

For the Ryder Cup 1997, he was qualified, but could not participate because of a wrist injury.

Since 2012 he plays on the European Seniors Tour.

Miguel Angel Martin is married to his wife Mercedes since 1990. They have two children and live in Madrid.
