Miguel Ángel Rubiano

Miguel Ángel Rubiano Chavez (born 3 October 1984) is a Colombian cyclist.

Miguel Ángel Rubiano began his career in 2006 with the Italian Professional Continental team Ceramiche Panaria - Navigare. In his first season he was sixth in the Grand Prix Industria & Artigianato - Larciano in April. Later he started the Giro d' Italia and the Road World Cycling Championships in Salzburg. In the road race in the U23 class, he finished 32nd.

23 August 2008 Rubiano tested positive for octopamine in the Regio Tour. The UCI then detained him for six months until 23 February 2009. The stage victory in the Tour of Slovakia was taken from him.

On 11 May 2012, he was able, now driving for the team Androni Giocattoli - Venezuela to win the sixth stage of the Giro d' Italia and thus retract the greatest success of his career.
