Miguel Capuccini

Miguel Cappuccini (* January 5, 1904; † 9 June 1980) was a Uruguayan football player.

Club career

At club level he played for the Wanderers. From 1928 to 1934, he was then in the squad of Club Atlético Peñarol. 1928, 1929 and 1932 his club won the Uruguayan championship, respectively. The Copa Aldao of 1928 secured the Aurinegros.

National

The goalkeeper was a member of the Uruguayan national football team, for which he completed a total of six caps between 14 July 1927 to 10 December of the same year in which he suffered six goals. Both the Campeonato Sudamericano 1927, in which Uruguay won second place, and on the for Celeste ending with the title win first FIFA World Cup 1930 took part Cappuccini. In the course of the World Cup but was not used.
