Mihai Mălaimare, Jr.

Mihai Mălaimare Junior ( born in 1975 in Romania) is a Romanian cameraman.

Life

Mihai Mălaimare Junior is the son of the Romanian actor and politician Mihai Mălaimare. At the age of 15 he became interested in photography, so he studied for his degree camera at the National University of Theatre and Film Arts " Ion Luca Caragiale ". He then worked for several years as a camera assistant and the promotional film before he made his debut with the staged drama of Ioan Carmazan Lotus as a cameraman for a feature film in 2004. His second feature film was directed by Francis Ford Coppola drama Youth Without Youth, received for at the Independent Spirit Awards 2008 for Best Cinematography nomination.
