Mihalıççık

Mihalıççık, also Mihalıçcık, is a town and district in the province of Eskisehir in central Anatolia. The district had 2008 11.158 and the city of 3,149 inhabitants. The district has an area of about 1860 km ², and lies at the intersection on 1325 meters above sea level.

History

Mihalıççık as received " Micalizo " in European history. Here died on June 16, 1397 Philippe d' Artois comte d' Eu, Constable of France, after he was killed on September 26, 1396 at the Battle of Nicopolis in Ottoman captivity.
