Mika Ääritalo

Mika Ääritalo (born 25 July 1985 in Turku ) is a Finnish football players. The national team has played for clubs in Finland, England and Germany during his active career so far. He currently stands at Turku PS under contract and playing on loan for Holstein Kiel.

Career

Clubs

Mika Ääritalo began his career at Turku PS, for which he was initially active in youth. In 2002, he played as a 17 -year-old his first professional season in the First Division. Even before his debut season was ended in 2002, the talent signed a three -year contract with Aston Villa. Previously had other European clubs interested in the striker, including Manchester United, Arsenal and Feyenoord Rotterdam. For the club from Birmingham, he played two years in the youth academy and had no use in the Premier League team. After his return to Turku, he won with the team the Finnish Cup (2010) and the League Cup (2012 ). On January 10, 2014 Holstein Kiel announced to undertake Mika Ääritalo on loan with option to buy.

National

In May 2010 Ääritalo were under coach Stuart Baxter his debut for the Finnish national team in match against Estonia. The first goal in the jersey of the owls he could achieve in his fifth deployment, beginning of the year 2012 in Port of Spain against Trinidad and Tobago. In the selfsame year, he participated in Estonia with his country at the Baltic Cup. There he came to a bet against the hosts after he came off the bench for Njazi Kuqi.
