Mikael Jansson

Mikael Jansson ( born September 4, 1965 in Umeå ) is a Swedish politician and former party leader of the right-wing populist party Sverigedemokraterna (Sweden Democrats ).

Mikael Jansson was previously politically active in the Centre Party. He was deputy chairman of the party Örebro County, but resigned in 1993 from the party to become deputy chairman of the Sweden Democrats. 1995-2005 Jansson was elected party leader of the Sweden Democrats.
