Mike Brant

Mike Brant (Hebrew מייק בראנט; born February 2, 1947 in Nicosia, Cyprus, † April 25, 1975 in Paris, France; actually Moshe Mikael fire ) was a very popular Israeli chanson singer. He scored 1970 to 1975 of the most successful singers in France. His voice was voluminous and expressive. Brant took plates mainly in French, but also in German or English. Published in 1970 by Brant Laisse -moi t'aimer his first smash hit in France. This was followed by number-one hits like Qui saura, C'est ma prière (1972 ), Rien qu'une larme, donné Tout, tout repris (1973) and Dis - lui (1975, a French cover of the song Feelings by Morris Albert ).

In 1970, he finished with the corn Chanson dans la lumière at the Grand Prix RTL International the first place; hereby also the leap into the German charts in 1970 he succeeded only once ( 34th place ). Then he took singles like Love wants more or Au revoir for the German market, but the level is in contrast to his colleague Mireille Mathieu little success.
