Mike Brown (basketball, born 1970)

Mike Brown ( born March 5, 1970 in Columbus, Ohio) is an American basketball coach. From the 2013/2014 season he coached the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA. In 2007 he reached the finals with the Cleveland Cavaliers. When his specialty is generally considered the defense of (Defense) and the ability to develop a good rapport with his players.

NBA career as an assistant coach

NBA career as head coach

In June 2005, he replaced Brendan Malone as head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, thus he was the second-youngest head coach in the NBA. In 2007, he led the Cleveland Cavaliers to the superstar LeBron James for the first time in franchise history in the NBA Finals. There, however, they lost 0-4 against the San Antonio Spurs. 2008 Mike Brown Eastern Conference coach of the month of January and coached the East All- Star team. For the 2013/2014 season Brown returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers and assumes there again the post of Head Coach.
