Mike Colter

Mike Colter ( born August 26, 1976 in Columbia, South Carolina ) is an American actor.

Life

He grew up in St. Matthews, South Carolina. He completed his school career in 1999 with a Bachelor in Theatre Studies from the University of South Carolina. He earned an MFA degree in Theatre Arts at Rutgers University.

Colter had his most famous role in the film Million Dollar Baby, in which he played the boxer "Big Willie Little ." In 2012, he also starred with in Men in Black 3. He appeared in a guest role as a drug lord Lemond Bishop, Emergency Room in the television series Law & Order, The Good Wife - at the emergency room and The Parkers, as well as in several other television films. In addition, he has until May 2012 in the CW television series Ringer held the lead role of Malcolm Ward of September 2011.

Colter lives in New York City.
