Mike Gambrill

Michael John "Mike" Gambrill ( born August 23, 1935 in Brighton, † January 8, 2011 in Kingston upon Thames ) was a British racing cyclist.

1956 Mike Gambrill British amateur champion in the road race. He twice competed at the Olympic Games: 1956 in Melbourne, he won jointly with Don Burgess, John Geddes and Tom Simpson the bronze medal in the team pursuit. Four years later separated the British team from Gambrill, Barry Hoban, Charles McCoy and Joseph McClean out in the first round.
