Mike Green (ice hockey, born 1985)

Mike Green ( born October 12, 1985 in Calgary, Alberta ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the Washington Capitals in the National Hockey League.

Career

The 188 cm tall defender started his career in the Canadian junior Western Hockey League with the Saskatoon Blades before he was selected by the Capitals in the NHL Entry Draft in 2004 as 29th in the first round.

, Initially used for the Hershey Bears, a farm team of the Capitals in the AHL, completed the right shooter in the 2005/06 season his first NHL games for Washington since the season 2006/ 07 he belongs to the root cadres of the capital city.
