Mike Marshall (musician)

Michael James " Mike" Marshall ( born July 17, 1957 in New Castle, Pennsylvania) is an American musician.

Marshall grew up in Lakeland, Florida and studied guitar. Soon after, the violin was added, followed by Mando Mandolin and Cello. His musical style ranges from bluegrass to jazz to Brazilian music. He is one of the most innovative musicians in the area of modern instrumental music. Marshall is married to Caterina Lichtenberg, who teaches at the Musikhochschule in Cologne mandolin.
