Mike Mills (director)

Michael " Mike" Mills ( born March 20, 1966 in Berkeley, California) is an American music video and film director and graphic designer.

He has made music videos for artists such as Moby, Yoko Ono and Air. He has also worked as a graphic designer in advertising material and album covers, among other things, the Beastie Boys, Beck, Sonic Youth, and Ol ' Dirty Bastard. In addition, he has designed graphics for X -Girl and Marc Jacobs. Currently, he produces his own posters and materials series called ' Humans by Mike Mills '.

2005 Mills turned his first feature film Thumbsucker.

Air named the 5th piece on their album Talkie Walkie after him.

Mike Mills is married to the American artist and filmmaker Miranda July.
