Mike Peters (Cartoonist)

Mike Bartley Peters ( born October 9, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American comic book artist, cartoonist and inventor of the comic strip Mother Goose and Grimm.

Peters studied art at Washington University which he completed in 1965. 1969 helped him get a job as a cartoonist for the Dayton Daily News his mentor Bill Mauldin. 1981 Peters got the Pulitzer prize in the cartoon. 1984 marked the release of the humorous newspaper comic strip Mother Goose and Grimm, which is about a small -speaking bull terrier named Grimm ( " Grimmy "). It published several book series and was printed in 800 newspapers. Peters continues to draw political cartoons.
