Mike Rietpietsch

Mike Rietpietsch ( born March 26, 1974 in Eberswalde ) is a former German football player.

Youth

Rietpietsch began in 1981 as a native of Eberswalde in the BSG Stahl Finow playing football. In 1987 he moved to the sports school to Frankfurt / Oder and played for FC Vorwärts Frankfurt / Oder at youth level.

Professional career

Initial experience in the men's field, he collected in the 1993/94 season at the 1 FC Union Berlin. In 1994, he joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen, but where he could not prevail. His next stops were Fortuna Dusseldorf, SC Freiburg, VfL Bochum and Rot-Weiss Oberhausen. From the 2005/2006 season he played for MSV Duisburg. His contract ran there until 2007. During the winter break of the 2005/2006 season he went on loan to Holstein Kiel, the next season he moved to Wuppertal SV Borussia, where he had a leadership role. His contract there ended after the 2008/2009 season because he was not renewed. Since the winter break 2009/2010 Mike Rietpietsch plays for Bonner SC 01/ 04, in the West Regional.

For the 2010/2011 season Riet Pitsch took over the post of sporting director of the insolvent Bonner SC, in early November 2010, he left the club but already again. In March 2011 he joined the Lower Rhine division Ratingen 04/ 19 to end of the season.
