Mike Salay
Mike Salay ( née: Michael Szalai; born June 10, 1909 in South Bend, Indiana, † November 19, 1973 ) was an American race car driver.
Salay launched 1948-1951 in eight races on the AAA National Series. He scored his best result in 1949 at the circuit of Trenton as the sixth.
1948, 1949 and 1951 he attempted to qualify for the 500- mile race from Indianapolis. Only his first attempt in 1948 succeeded. From 31 grid position but he drove a Wetteroth - Offenhauser only 13 laps until his engine went on strike.
