Mike Sandbothe

Mike sand Bothe ( born June 26, 1961) is a German philosopher and intellectual.

Life

Mike sand Bothe lives with his wife and children in Erfurt, a Professor of Culture and Media at the Ernst -Abbe- Fachhochschule Jena and works as a freelance writer and cultural- political adviser. He is co-founder of the new branch of media philosophy and one of the main proponents of philosophical pragmatism in Europe. As a university lecturer in media cultural studies he taught at the Friedrich -Schiller- University of Jena and a professor of media philosophy at the University of Arts Berlin and the Aalborg Universitetscenter. The focus of his current work are the issues of " pragmatism as cultural policy ", " Healthy Teaching and Learning ( GLL )" and " Spiritual formation ".

Since 2009 he leads the blog " Mediary.org " on which he publishes critical media comments at irregular intervals. The comments follow the idea of ​​Metajournalismus, that is, they refer not only to the content of the annotated publications, but also and above all to the journalistic style.
