Mike Varney

Mike Varney is an American music producer. Under his, which he founded himself, record label called Shrapnel Records produces and he published the works of many guitarists. He has made it his life's mission to seek talented guitarists worldwide to promote it.

The following talented guitarist from the rock or fusion area were supported by the production of Mike Varney: Yngwie Malmsteen, Richie Kotzen, Paul Gilbert, Tony MacAlpine, Greg Howe, Marty Friedman, Michael Lee Firkins, Joey Tafolla, Vinnie Moore, Ron Thal and Jason Becker.

Varney produced as well as some, who later became known heavy metal bands such as WASP, Keel, Vicious Rumors, Steeler and Racer X.
