Mike W. Barr

Mike W. Barr ( * May 30, 1952 ) is an American novelist and comic book writer. Barr was known primarily as a writer of mystery and science fiction novels, as well as a comic book author.

Life

Barr began in the mid -1970s to work as a professional comic book writer. His first published work, an eight-page mystery short story about the adventurer Elongated Man, appeared at the turn of 1974/1975 in the comic book Detective Comics # 444 In the following years he continued to write short stories for Detective Comics, and for the horror comic series House of Mystery, both published by the publishing house DC Comics program.
