Mikhail Bychkov

Mikhail Ivanovich Bychkov (Russian: Михаил Иванович Бычков; May 22nd, 1926 in Ljuberzy, Russian SFSR, † 17 May 1997 Moscow) was a Russian ice hockey player.

Career

During his career, the striker played for Krylia Sovetov Moscow. In all, he scored 208 goals in 280 games in the Soviet league. He was appointed to the team of the Soviet national ice hockey team. On 29 January 1954 he was in a game against Finland for the first time for the Sbornaja on the ice. His international career was crowned with the bronze medal at the Olympic Winter Games 1960. The Ice Hockey World Championships, he was once with his team world champion (1954). For the national team, he scored 14 goals in 42 internationals. On February 28, 1960 he played his last international match.

Mikhail Bychkov received the 1953 national award " Honored Master of Sports."
