Mikhail Myasnikovich

Mikhail Myasnikovich ( born May 6, 1950 in Nowy Snou at Nyasvizh, Minsk Woblasz, Byelorussian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Belarusian politician and, since December 28, 2010 Prime Minister of Belarus.

Mikhail Myasnikovich closed in 1972 to study at the Institute of Civil Engineering in Brest from, as well as 1989, a study at the University of the CPSU in Minsk. His career in the state and party apparatus of the former Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic ( BSSR ), he started in 1983. From 1986 to 1990 he was Minister of Municipal Housing Industry of the BSSR. From 1990 was Myasnikovich Deputy Ministers Chairman. In the presidential elections of 1994, he led the campaign team of the candidate Wjatschaslau Kebitsch. However, after the victory of Alyaksandr Lukashenka, he accepted the offer to become head of the presidential administration. 2001 Myasnikovich left politics and became president of the Presidium of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences. After the 2010 presidential election, Lukashenka appointed him as the new Prime Minister.
