Miki Monrás

Miquel "Miki " Monras Albanell (* January 17, 1992 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish racing driver. He joined in 2011 in Formula 2 at.

Career

Monras began his motorsport career in 2002 in karting, where he was active until 2007. Among other things, he was in 2006 Spanish and European Junior ICA kart champion and 2007 runner-up of the European KF2 Championship. He also made 2007 Junior in the master formula and winter series of the Italian Formula Renault his first experience in Formula racing. In 2008 he joined for Hitech Racing in parallel in the Western European Formula Renault, which he finished in eighth place, and in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup, where he finished 21st overall, at. 2009 saw the Spaniard to SG Formula and re-entered in both championships. While he was in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup improved to fifth overall, he was fourth in the Western European Formula Renault.

2010 Monras was committed by MW Arden for the first season of the GP3 series. At the end of the season, he finished with a second place as best result tenth overall. 2011 moved Monras in the FIA Formula 2 Championship. With a win and three other podium finishes Monras was fourth in the championship.
