Mikladalur

Mikladalur (Danish: Mygledal ) is a place of the Faroe Islands in the North Island Kalsoy

For the former municipality Mikladalur (until 2005) part of the place Trøllanes, with which it is connected since 1985 by a 2,248 m long tunnel. Mikladalur is the largest town on Kalsoy and is situated on its east coast.

The stone church of Mikladalur dates from the year 1856. Slightly above the village is the Viðarlundin í Mikladali worth noting a small forest. It has an area of 1.5 ha and was created in 1953. It is owned by the municipality Mikladalur.
