Milan Kangrga

Milan Kangrga ( born May 1, 1923 in Zagreb, † April 25, 2008 ibid ) was a professor of philosophy at the University of Zagreb.

Life

Kangrga studied philosophy in Zagreb and received his PhD in 1961, in the years 1962 to 1964, he had one made ​​possible by the Alexander -von- Humboldt Foundation studies at the University of Heidelberg. Later he worked as a visiting lecturer at the Universities of Bonn, among others, and Dusseldorf, as well as several universities in the Soviet Union and Czechoslovakia. From 1972 he was Professor of Philosophy ( Department of Ethics ) at the University of Zagreb, he became Professor Emeritus in 1993. He was among the founding members of the practice group. He became involved in 1997, founded Socijalistička Radnička partija Hrvatske ( Socialist Workers Party of Croatia ).
