Milena Rosner

Milena Rosner ( born January 4, 1980 in Slupsk, Poland) is a Polish volleyball player.

The 1,79 m tall and 67 kg Außenangreiferin began her career in 1997 at the Polish club Gdania Gdansk ( Danzig), to which she moved from her home in Slupsk club at the age of 17 years. From 1997 to 2002 she played there. After that, she was active in Nafta Gaz Pila, a club which is also based in the northwestern Poland. In the three seasons, from 2002 to 2005, she matured to national player. In 2003 she succeeded with Pila Polish Cup victory. 2005 was on the move to Muszynianka Muszyna, where she was for the first time Polish champion in 2006. Just one year later, she accepted an offer of the Spanish Association savings Tenerife Marichal. In the Champions League 2006 /07 Tenerife finished third and Milena Rosner was named " Best Receiver". After the season in Spain, she moved again for one season to Italy to Foppapedretti Bergamo to 2008 finally returned back to MKS Muszynianka Fakro Muszyna. In 2009, she was there for the second time Polish champion. Then Milena took a sporting break. It was not until 2011 they played the second half in Romanian League for Dinamo Bucharest. For the playoffs, she was no longer on the team. Since October 2011, she plays the Polish first division Impel Gwardia Wrocław (Breslau).

Milena Rosner's greatest success in the Polish national team in 2005 was winning the gold medal at the European Championships. For the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing (China) to captain Rosner woman could qualify with the Polish women's national team, but resigned in the preliminary round of. For the country selection, she was nominated for the first time in 2001, since 2009 it is no longer active for Poland.
