Miles Flint

Miles Flint ( * July 1953 ) is a British manager and since June 2004, the CEO of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB.

Life

Miles Flint is a graduate of the University of London and studied business at the University of Cranfield. His managerial work he began in 1991 with Sony as the managing director of Sony Broadcast & Communications UK. In January 1998 he was promoted to Managing Director of Sony Broadcast & Professional Europe. Miles Flint and his team were responsible for the marketing and support of products and services in the business of business solutions for customers in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. After another three years him a position on the board of Sony Europe was offered and he became the Managing Director of Sony UK Ltd..

In July 2002, Miles Flint was promoted to Managing Director at Sony Business Europe. He also was responsible for two other Sony divisions: Recording Media & Energy and Semiconductor & Electronic Solutions. In November 2003, he was the position of manager of the Europe Marketing of Sony Europe was passed.

Miles lives in Maidenhead (UK) with his wife and two children.
