Military bicycle

As a military bikes are referred to bicycles that are used by armed forces to fulfill their tasks. Bicycles are often used, as opposed to horses or motorized vehicles because they allow almost noiseless movement.

History

The introduction of the first bicycles in the military took place at the end of the 19th century.
