Miloš Šestić

Miloš Šestić ( born August 8, 1956 in Milosavci, SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Yugoslav football player.

Playing career

Šestić began his career in 1976 with FK Red Star Belgrade. Until 1984, he won the Yugoslav Championship four times and once the Yugoslav Cup. During his time at Red Star, he was called for the Football World Cup 1982 in Spain, where Yugoslavia was eliminated in the group stage. Šestić was used twice. He got the same fate at the European Football Championship in 1984 in France to feel as Yugoslavia once again eliminated in the group stage, Šestić played twice again, but this time he scored one goal. In 1984 he moved to Greece Olympiakos Piraeus, which he left after one season in order to return to his homeland. Šestić signed with FK Vojvodina Novi Sad. After a year he went to the FK Zemun, from which he moved to a season for OFK Belgrade. This was his last stop as a professional; he left the OFK Belgrade in 1988.
