Three bridges, one of which combines a road and railroad, lead here today across the river - the oldest bridge in 1927 created Zogu Bridge, was the first large steel arch bridge in Albania.

A new highway (SH1 ) a few kilometers to the west in the plane relieves the place for some years from the through traffic on the north- south route. From these branches at Milot from the new A1 motorway, which leads to Kukes and Kosovo since June 2009. The Stretches bypasses Milot in a narrow strip on the south bank of the mat along the last houses of the village.

The route of the Albanian railways Hekurudha Shqiptare to Shkodra performs Milot. A branch line to Rubik and Rrëshen was shut down, the route was partially used for the construction of motorways.
