Milt Fankhouser

Milton " Milt " Fankhauser ( born October 29, 1915 in New York, New York, USA, † February 26, 1970 in Santa Barbara, California, United States) was an American race car driver.

Between 1946 and 1950 he competed in 16 races on the AAA National Series, with him in Lakewood with a fifth place in a Stevens- Offenhauser succeeded his best finish in 1948.

He tried to regularly qualify for the 500 miles of Indianapolis 1947-1950. Only the first attempt in 1947 succeeded. In the race, he retired after 30 laps of an accident.

His son Merrell Fankhauser was a well-known musician.
