Geography

The city of Milton has a total area of 34.4 km ² (13.3 mi ² ), of which 33.8 km ² ( 13.0 mi ²) are pure land area. At water surfaces Milton has 0.6 km ² ( 0.2 mi ² ), which corresponds to a share of 1.81 %. Milton is located west of Quincy and south of Boston. The Massachusetts Route 28 runs through the city.
