Miltos Sachtouris

Miltos property, tourism ( Miltos Sahtouris, Μίλτος Σαχτούρης; born July 19, 1919 in Athens, † March 29, 2005 ) was a Greek poet.

Property, tourism began to study law in 1937, the study was but at 1940 to be a writer. His first poems were published in the 1940s in magazines Ελληνικά Γράμματα ( Hellinika Grammata ) and Τα Νέα Γράμματα (Ta Nea Grammata ), whose staff he was.

In 1956 he received the first prize for young European poets of the Italian radio. 1962 and 1987 he was awarded the Second and First National Prize for Poetry, the 2003 State Prize for Literature for his life's work. His works were, inter alia, translated into English, French, Dutch and Italian. A collection of poems in German, translated by Andrea Kapsaski appeared in 1990.
