Milwaukee Art Museum

The Milwaukee Art Museum ( MAM) is an art museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The museum's history began in 1888 with the founding of the Milwaukee Art Association by German artists. In the possession of the museum are, inter alia, numerous works by Georgia O'Keeffe.

The new museum building by the architect Santiago Calatrava, was opened on 4 May 2001. The building, the architect and the engineers responsible received the 2004 " Outstanding Structure Award" of the IABSE. The older building from 1957, designed by Eero Saarinen.
