MiMA (building)

440 West 42nd Street ( officially 1 Mima Tower ) is both name and address of a skyscraper in New York City. Construction on the skyscraper began in 2007 and were completed in late summer 2011. The height of the building of 204 meters was reached in August 2010 at the body shop. At 55 floors, there are at the bottom of a hotel, while above residential apartments have been created. The architectural firm Arquitectonia was responsible for the planning of the building. Initially a height of 188 meters was planned, but this was increased in May 2010 to 204 meters.

The entire skyscraper is built in reinforced concrete. The responsible construction company, the company Tishman Construction.
