Minaret Peak
BWf1
The Minaret Peak is a summit of Marble Hills in West Antarctica. It lies on the northwestern end of the chain and reaches a height of 1,613 meters.
Was named the summit of a research expedition from the University of Minnesota, who visited the area in the summer of 1962-1963, as its top resembles a minaret. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names adopted this proposal in 1964 as an official name.
