History

Minicom was founded in 1988 in Jerusalem, Israel. Local companies manage the business in Europe and the United States. In addition, act independent sales teams in Germany, Great Britain, Italy and France. 2005 acquired Minicom Replicom Ltd.. , Today the research factory for IP technology within Minicom.

Minicom has offices in Dübendorf, London, Kiel, Rome and New Jersey, and has a global presence in over 70 countries.

In October 2006 it was announced that Minicom has received an investment from Intel Capital.

In November 2006, Minicom was conducted on 37th of the fastest growing Israeli technology companies in the Deloitte Brightman Almagor 2006 Technology Fast 50 competition. This in turn enabled Minicom an entry in 2006 Fast 500 EMEA.

KVM

Minicom KVM product portfolio includes KVM switches and extenders also the devices that enable the monitoring and control of PCs and servers from anywhere over IP.

Digital Signage

Minicom display systems distribute the video from a central server to multiple monitors. The data are transmitted over standard Cat -5 cable. Minicom's products occupy the so-called The Last Mile of Digital Signage niche.
