Ministry of Aviation

The Ministry of Aviation was a ministry of the British government, which was founded in 1959 after the dissolution of the Ministry of Supply. His task was the regulation and control of civil aviation in the United Kingdom and the supply of the Air Force with aircraft.

It was disbanded in 1967. The responsibility of supplying the RAF with aircraft was transferred to the Ministry of Technology, while the regulation of civil aviation was the Board of Trade about answers.
