Minken Fosheim
Minken Fosheim ( born March 20, 1956 in Oslo) is a Norwegian actress and children's book author.
Since the late seventies, she first starred in film adaptations that aired the Norwegian state-owned TV channel NRK. She has starred in dramas by Ibsen The Lady from the Sea (1979) and The Master Builder (1981). Even in movies, novels where the Norwegian author Nini Roll Anker were based, she was repeatedly seen, for example, in the above Kvinnen Svarte Fuglen, 1982 ( The woman and the black bird ). As early as 1983 it was first booked for a Swedish production: the staged by Lasse Glomm after a presentation by Espen Haavardsholm feature film Svarta fåglar ( Black birds ) she played a supporting role.
Internationally known it was in 1999, when she in the film Sophie's World ( based on the eponymous novel by Jostein Gaarder philosophical ) took over the role of Hilde's mother. In the same year she starred in the hit children's film tzatziki - squid and first kisses a Norwegian teacher.
In the Scandinavian countries, the children's books by Minken Fosheim gained notoriety. In them, she tries on fabulous way closer to the life and music of composers and soloists such as Mozart, Beethoven, Grieg, Vivaldi or Ole Bull children.
