Minneapolis Bruins

The Minneapolis Bruins were an American ice hockey franchise of the Central Hockey League from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

History

The club took to season 1963/64, on the operation of gambling in the Central Professional Hockey League newly established, in which they were the new farm team of the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League. In the two seasons of existence, the team reached the third place in each of the regular season and was eliminated in the playoffs for the Adams Cup respectively in the first round.

For the 1965/66 season was the Bruins Minneapolis to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, moved, and changed their name to Oklahoma City Blazers.
