Minster is a village in Auglaize County ( Ohio) in the United States. The population in 2000 stood at just under 2,800 residents. To the north is the village of Minster New Bremen, south of Fort Loramie, which already belongs to the neighboring Shelby County. In Minster is the largest yogurt plant in the world, which is operated by Danone. Here 400 employees.

The village was founded in 1832 under the name Stallostown ( after the founder Francis Stallo ) and was renamed in 1836 in Minster. The site was initially mainly populated by German immigrants Catholic faith, which came over the Miami - Erie Canal to Minster, and settled as a farmer. Even today, the Oktoberfest is celebrated in Minster, also is the village predominantly Roman Catholic; which belongs to the Archdiocese of Cincinnati St. Augustine Catholic Church is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
