Miomir Žužul

Miomir Žužul ( born June 19, 1955 in Split) is a Croatian politician and diplomat.

Žužul received his doctorate in psychology at the University of Zagreb and received his PhD in conflict management at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, a branch of Harvard University.

Žužul was 1992-1993 deputy of the State Department and from 1993 to 1996 Ambassador to the United Nations. From 1996 to 2000 he was Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in the United States. Žužul had 2003 to 2005 held the office of Foreign Minister.

After allegations of corruption from his own party (HDZ ) Žužul laid down in February 2005, the Office of the Secretary of State.
