Mionnay

Mionnay is a commune with 2072 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Ain ​​, in the Rhône -Alpes; it is part of the arrondissement Bourg -en- Bresse and Canton Reyrieux.

Geography

Mionnay located in the center of the Dombes, 17 kilometers north of the city center of Lyon. This neighborhood is due to the rapid increase in population in the second half of the 20th century. In the southwest borders the municipality of Mionnay to the Canton Neuville- sur -Saône, which is part of the continuous built agglomeration of Lyon.
