Mirabel-et-Blacons

Mirabel- et- Blacons is a commune with 885 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Drôme in the Rhône -Alpes; it belongs to the district of the canton and the Crest- North and is located in the valley of the river Gervanne.

History

During the siege of the army by the Huguenots in 1574 provoked Catholic troops on July 4, the Battle of the Bridge of Mirabel or Blacons, in which the Protestant officer Montbrun fell into captivity.
