Miriam Oremans

Miriam Oremans ( born September 9, 1972 in Berlicum ) is a former Dutch tennis player.

Oremans won in 2000 along with her doubles partner Kristie Boogert at the Summer Olympic Games in Sydney, the silver medal. In the final of the women's doubles they lost the American pair of sisters Venus and Serena Williams.

In 1993 they reached position 25 in singles and No. 19 in doubles in 1997 with their respective best result on the WTA world rankings.

2002 Oremans retired from competitive sports.
