Miriam Welte ( born December 9, 1986 in Kaiserslautern ) is a German track cyclist, world champion and Olympic champion.

Sports career

2002-2012

2002 Miriam Welte German vice - champion of the junior women in the 500 -meter time trial from 2006 to 2008, she won the German championship in each of the elite in this discipline. Team

By 2013, Miriam Welte launched for the UCI Track Team "Track Cycling Team Mecklenburg -Vorpommern", their club was RSC Kaiserslautern. In February 2014 it was announced that she joined the triathlon Department of the 1st FC Kaiserslautern, which is German cyclist on the Palatine Bicycle Association Member of the Association.
