Mirko Hrgović

Mirko Hrgović (born 5 February 1979 in Sinj, SFR Yugoslavia ) is playing for the Bosnian national football team. It has both the Croatian and Bosnian nationality. The latter he supposed to play at international level ( national team).

He moved in 2003 to VfL Wolfsburg, earlier, he had been active in Croatia for Hajduk Split, Gamba Osaka and NK Široki Brijeg. Hrgović came during his time in Wolfsburg Bundesliga to 23 inserts. During the season 2005/2006 he dissolved his contract at Wolfsburg and moved back to Hajduk Split. Since February 2008, he played for the Japanese first division club JEF United, but in July of the same year he returned to Croatia back and there wrote a three -year contract with Dinamo Zagreb. On 17 July 2009 announced the SpVgg Greuther Fürth, that it had been agreed with Hrgović on a 2- year contract. On 25 November 2009 he was released there after a conflict with coach Benno Möhlmann again.

For the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team midfielder completed 13 internationals.

His sister Ivanka Hrgović is Croatian handball national team.
