Mirsad Baljić

Mirsad Baljić ( born March 4, 1962 in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia, now Bosnia and Herzegovina ) is a former Yugoslav football player.

Career

Baljić began his career in the youth team of FK Sarajevo. In 1979 he went to FK Željezničar Sarajevo, where he immediately came into the first team. At the time he was in Sarajevo in the Yugoslavian squad for Euro 1984 in France. Baljic has been deployed, Yugoslavia difference in the group stage. He was also in the same year in the squad of the Yugoslav U -21, which participated at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Baljić won the bronze medal with the team. 1989 he moved abroad and the Bosnians moved to Switzerland for FC Sion. Baljić 1992 she won the Swiss Championship and the 1991 Swiss Cup. During the period in Sion, he was called for the Football World Cup 1990 in Italy. He was not used, Yugoslavia came to the quarterfinals. In 1992 he moved to FC Zurich, where he spent two years of his career. Baljić finished his career in 1994.
